Physiotherapy Information
Please note: Lisa Franks our Respiratory Physiotherapist is currently on maternity leave returning early in 2027. Please contact our rooms if you would like to go on a waiting list to be contacted when appointments are next available.
Do I need a referral to see the Physiotherapist?
No, however Lisa does require some clinical information sent through from your treating doctor prior to your first appointment. Please arrange for correspondence to be sent through via Fax to 07 3847 8891 or email admin@pulmedica.com.au.
What are the physiotherapy fees?
Please contact our rooms to confirm the current fees for physiotherapy appointments.
Do you have onsite claiming for Health Funds?
No. We will give you an itemised receipt to claim back a portion of your fees through your Health Fund if you have extras cover.
Do you accept referrals via a Chronic Disease Management Plan
(formerly Enhanced Primary Care or EPC) from a GP?
Yes, however these visits are not bulk billed. There will be still be an out of pocket charge for these consultations. Please contact our rooms for more information.
Do you accept referrals for DVA patients for Physiotherapy consultations?
Yes, Lisa does see DVA patients.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Please remember to bring your Aerobika device and instruction sheet (if applicable).
